Editorial Policy

This page explains how content on Storywaala is made — which articles are dramatised stories, which are factual, who our writers are, and what to do if you find an error. We want every reader to know exactly what they are reading.

1. Our love stories are fiction

Storywaala's love stories and relationship narratives are dramatised. The names, places, ages, dialogue and characters in them are fictional. They are not reported interviews with named real individuals.

The quotes that appear in these stories — attributed to names like "Sangeeta Mathur (34, Ahmedabad)" — are a storytelling device. They are not a verbatim record of any real conversation and should not be read as one.

Every such story carries a clear disclosure at the end so there is no confusion. These stories are inspired by experiences that are common in Indian life — family pressure, distance, age gaps, second chances — but they are not the true account of any one person.

Any resemblance to a real person is coincidental.

2. Entertainment, film and television articles

Our articles on films, web series and television serials are opinion and analysis. They are based on publicly available information — releases, cast, broadcast episodes, official announcements.

We do not present rumour as fact. Where something is unconfirmed, we say clearly that it is unconfirmed. On an artist's private life, we report only what they have themselves made public.

3. Beauty and health content

Our beauty and skincare articles are general information. They are not medical advice and cannot replace guidance from a qualified doctor or dermatologist.

Before using any home remedy or new product on your face or hair, patch-test it on the inside of your elbow and wait 24 hours. If you have allergies, are pregnant, or have a persistent skin condition, consult a doctor first.

4. Travel content

Prices, timings, permit rules and availability given in travel articles were accurate at the time of publication. These change frequently.

Please confirm current information with official websites, transport operators and local authorities before planning or booking a trip.

5. Writers and bylines

Every article published on Storywaala carries the name of its writer, and clicking that name takes you to the writer's page — with their profile and everything they have published on the site.

On our writer pages we state only what is true — the subjects they cover and what they have published. We do not add invented qualifications, awards or years of experience.

6. Use of AI

We may use AI tools to help with drafting, language editing and Hindi–English translation. Every article is reviewed and edited by a human before publication, and responsibility for it rests with the writer named in the byline and the Storywaala editorial team.

7. Advertising and independence

Storywaala earns revenue from advertising. Advertisers have no control over our editorial content and no say in what we publish.

If any content is sponsored or contains affiliate links, we label it clearly within the article itself.

8. Corrections and complaints

If you find a factual error in our content, or believe an article portrays someone unfairly, please write to info@storywaala.in. Include the link to the article and details of your concern.

We review such messages and update the article where a correction is warranted. Significant corrections are noted on the article so readers can see what changed.
